In the Suitcase

I'm an adventurer at heart, always seeking fresh challenges and new horizons, whether that's lifting heavy in the gym, plunging into the deep blue as a scuba diver, hiking up mountains or chasing the perfect wildlife shot through my camera lens.

I live for travel and discovery, exploring at least one new country a year, and diving head first into every detail from planning to experience. Fitness is more than a hobby, it is part of my foundation. I trained professionally to become an RSA qualified instructor, sharpening my communication and teaching skills along the way. If I'm not hitting the slopes, trading punches in the boxing ring, hiking mountains or rallying a tennis ball, you'll likely find me elbow-deep in ganache, because yes, I also completed a professional chocolatier's course (and my chocolate truffles are a serious crowd-pleaser) or spending time with my two stunning Bengal cats, whose wild charm and playful energy keep things delightfully unpredictable, or nurturing my lush, vibrant garden, which is a sanctuary of colour, calm, and creativity.

The Journey

Fuelled by 35+ years of globe-trotting and a sixth sense for unearthing the extraordinary, I'm part travel agent, part experience curator and a full-time adventurer! I have the insider know how and the passport stamps to prove it.

From visiting remote ancient villages and islands in Japan. Hiking to temples in Bhutan. Diving coral reefs around the world. Skiing down the Rockies. Watching the sunrise from volcanos and ancient temples. Sailing around Nusa Tenggara in Indonesia. Watching lion cubs cross the track in Kruger. To lounging like royalty in the Maldives. I have done it all. My love for the quirky, the offbeat, and the “wait, what, we're going where?!” moments mean I will always look to find those once in a lifetime memories that you did not even know you needed.

After years of curating memorable journeys for myself, friends, and family, I transitioned from the structured world of business analysis and project management; where I honed my craft at some of the travel industry's most recognised brands and where I mastered the art of planning, problem solving, and precision, to the vibrant realm of bespoke travel design. I didn't just pivot careers; I evolved my skills into crafting exceptional journeys through my business, WanderFuel. Now, I apply the same strategic thinking and attention to detail that once powered corporate projects to deliver a boutique travel service with a singular mission; to turn dream holidays into reality. Trips that feel like they were made for you and only you. Because they are.

On the Map

My last adventure in India took me from the ancient soul of Varanasi to the majestic chaos of Delhi, the golden dunes of Jaisalmer to the palatial charm of Jaipur and Jodhpur. I explored the spiritual depths of Bihar, marvelled at the timeless beauty of the Taj in Agra, and unwound with yoga on Goa's sun-soaked beaches, where mornings began with sun salutations and the rhythmic crash of waves. Each stop had its own flavour, rhythm, and story, an unforgettable journey through colour, culture, and history.

My next adventure will be to Cambodia. Temples, jungle trails, and a rich heritage await. I am so excited to dive into and share its magic.
